CHINAGRAPH ADDS ANOTHER FIVE STAR EDITOR, PETER MOSTERT
August 2, 2008

Peter MostertPETER MOSTERT, a South African native who won that country's best editor award nine years in a row, has joined the editorial staff at CHINAGRAPH. MOSTERT'S reel is a diverse mix that leans to story-telling but also sits comfortably in the fashion world. CHINAGRAPH partner and editor, Eric Carlson, said of MOSTERT, "The thing about PETER is that he's good at everything. It's rather annoying actually."
MOSTERT began his career in South Africa where he spent over twelve years at Cut Aways in Johannesburg and Cape Town. After becoming an owner and winning South Africa's best editor award for 9 years in a row, MOSTERT decided to make the stateside jump. Coming directly from Chemistry, MOSTERT said, "I have a huge amount of respect for the quality of work and the vibe at Chinagraph. People matter so much in this business. It's a place I instantly felt comfortable."
Among his notable work is the Nike spot "Games." This unforgettable Aids awareness spot portrays an invisible attacker striking down people as Nancy Sinatra's slow and forceful "Bang, Bang" plays in the background. A title appears. "Our greatest opponent is one we cannot see. Use a condom." Other award-winning work includes spots for Subaru, Crocs, Cisco, Garnier and Palmolive.
Kane Platt, editor and partner said, "PETER'S got an energy that's amazing. He's so passionate about the work, about finding the story, the moment, the fresh way in. We're absolutely thrilled he's here."
